Agencies must be a 501c3 public charity based in and providing services in Northeast Florida (Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns Counties). Eligible organizations of any size may apply. Awards will be impacted by the demonstrated need of the organization, support already received, size of organization and numbers served. The maximum award available for each organization will be based on its 2019 gross revenues. It is expected that the average grant award would be between $5,000 and $25,000.
Applications will be taken online for four weeks only, from October 5, 2020 until November 2, 2020. Costs must have been incurred between March 1, 2020 and November 1, 2020, as well as future expected expenses in these same categories that are expected to be incurred in November and December of this year. The Community Foundation Launches the Respond/Adapt/Recover Fund

The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida is offering grants to nonprofit organizations in Northeast Florida experiencing economic hardships related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Foundation’s Respond/Adapt/Recover Fund will assist eligible nonprofit organizations with reimbursement for re-opening costs and/or expenses associated with safely maintaining operations during the pandemic according to health guidelines. Applications are due on November 2, 2020.
