FY2020-21 Neighborhood Matching Grants Program

The application for the City of Jacksonville’s Fiscal Year 2020-21 Matching Grant Program is now available.The program is designed to give financial assistance to registered neighborhood organizations who are interested in reducing blight and enhancing their community. Applications are due on or before December 14, 2020 at 5:00 p.m
Projects must address an external, visible, beautification or rehabilitation improvement that benefits their Duval County neighborhood. Some of the possible uses could be 1) clean up graffiti, 2) repair and install new fencing, 3) replace or develop neighborhood identification or entrance signs, 4) community gardens, and 5) painting/landscaping.

The grant reimbursement amount under this program is 50% of the total project cost up to a maximum of $5,000.

In order to answer questions and assist with the grant application process, the Neighborhoods Department will host a series of virtual workshops.  The workshops are not required but are highly recommended.  Click here for more details.
