All neighborhood organizations registered with the City of Jacksonville's Neighborhood Services Office are invited to apply for an award. The 2020 Neighborhood Awards will be given to organizations for outstanding projects that were developed and completed January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. Eligible clean-up projects must have been reported through the Clean It Up/Green It Up program email at cleanupvolunteers@coj.net or ddurbec@coj.net during the same time period.

The City of Jacksonville's Neighborhoods Department is now accepting applications for the 2020 Neighborhood Awards Competition. The theme of this year's award is "Make it a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood." The program is designed to recognize the efforts of organized and registered neighborhood groups in the City of Jacksonville that have excelled in areas of clean-ups and other projects and activities that benefit the community or physically improve Jacksonville's neighborhoods. In addition, the first Regulatory Officer of the Year Award will be given to an individual that has exceeded customer expectations to serve the community in an official or volunteer capacity. All nominations must be received or postmarked by March 6, 2020.
